Meet the Pastor

Pastor Francis Warren serves as the lead pastor of Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene. He and his wife, Blenda, met during their college years and have been married for over 30 years. Together, they have built a family rooted in faith, love, and ministry.

The Warrens have three children and one granddaughter. Their son, Jordan, and his wife, Kate, reside in Olathe, Kansas. Their daughter, Emily, lives in Joliet, Illinois, with her husband, Ben, and their daughter, Eliana. Their youngest daughter, Lexi, will graduate from high school this spring and plans to begin college in the fall. The family also includes two beloved dogs, Jax and Zoe.

Pastor Francis and Blenda have served in full-time ministry for over 25 years, leading congregations in Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, and Illinois. In July 2017, they moved to Shipshewana to begin their ministry with the local church family. They have come to deeply love both the community and the people who make up the congregation.
